Dental care is incredibly important for everyone – including people with disabilities. Both physically, mentally, and psychologically. However, as a professional, there are several factors to be aware of when treating people with disabilities in dental care.
In this keynote, journalist and comedian Jacob Nossell, who himself lives with Cerebral Palsy, will discuss what matters to people with disabilities when it comes to dental care.
Among other things, he will highlight that good dental care is not just about the functionality of it but just as much about saying hi before drilling – and understanding the person’s life situation.
Jacob Nossell has worked with disability, communication, and advocacy for more than 20 years. He is also the Vice Chairman of CP Denmark, the association for Cerebral Palsy in Denmark.
Finally, he has received several honorary awards for his dedication to the disability movement.
